What a drive!
We explored Big Island today from west (Kona) to east (Hilo) and back. 2000m up and down and up and down! An amazing ride through jungle, vasted lava fields, clouds, rain, sunshine, and 12 to 28 degree Celsius – all within a day!
What we didn’t expect were those „wild animals“: tons of goats and sheep along (and on) the road, a pig, donkeys, nenes (some kind of geese), and ducks. And A. swore he got caught by a crab today!
Back home our new best friend Mr. Cockroach stopped by and two geckos played catch on the ceiling.
J. keeps googling about any venemous animals in Hawaii, after spotting „a real pufferfish“!
