After a quick breakfast in our apartment (thanks again KH for those delicious sweet yellow dumplings) we made our way to the mall downtown again, and stopped – again – at the cell phone shops. At least today successfully! Thank god ….
Then we started our – sweaty – journey around the core zone, stopped at many murals, playground, delicious cafe, and the jetty houses. Amazing how the descendents of the early days chinese fishermen still live in these „water houses“.
Farther north at the tip of Penang Island we checked the – never used – cannons from the British, said Hi to Francis Light and Queen Victoria’s Tower, before heading back to our car through Little India.
The splash in the hotel pool was well deserved.
Still we enjoyed diving into the crazy, crowded, diverse, and burstling city life here in Georgetown one more time!
